MESSAGES

Shri. Rammohan Naidu Kinjarapu

Union Minister for Civil Aviation

Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, India’s civil aviation sector is undergoing a remarkable transformation—expanding connectivity, modernising infrastructure, and embracing new technologies that reflect the aspirations of a rising nation. The sector continues to demonstrate resilience and steady growth, strengthening international linkages while deepening access within the country.

Wings India 2026 arrives at a pivotal moment in this journey. As the host nation, India is proud to welcome global leaders, innovators, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to a platform that celebrates collaboration, showcases opportunities, and sets the direction for the future of aviation. The Wings India Global Conference stands at the heart of this event.

‘Wings India 2026 is more than an aviation event; it’s a reflection of India’s growing significance in the global aerospace industry. It brings together industry, government & operators to steer the long-term future of Indian aviation.’

Chai Eamsiri

CEO , Thai Airways

The aviation industry faces increasingly complex challenges—from climate change to geopolitical uncertainty—requiring airlines to be more agile, more resilient, to grow sustainably. This reflects the growing need for a forum where industry leaders can get together to address the issues, share ideas, that help shape a better future for the industry.

As Asia’s largest civil aviation event, Wings India is regarded as an comprehensive platform for Thai Airways to expand our network and collaboration with the stakeholders across the region – including industry leaders, policymakers, and business partners.

The forum not only brings aviation leaders together to discuss and explore solutions to the pressing challenges, but also showcases technologies that support the development of more resilient and sustainable air transportation for the future.

Thai Airways sincerely thanks India’s Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), the Airports Authority of India (AAI), and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) for hosting this impactful event.

Wings India 2026 brings together the full breadth of the aviation ecosystem at a moment of extraordinary momentum for India and the global industry. The programme spans policy, technology, operations, sustainability, air cargo, and the future of mobility — creating a rare platform where ideas can translate into meaningful action. I’m honoured to contribute to two critical conversations this year: Women in Aviation, where India’s leadership offers a powerful model for the world, and Air Cargo Transportation, a sector that continues to drive global connectivity and economic growth

What sets Wings India apart is its commitment to people, innovation, and collaboration. It is more than an event — it is a catalyst for shaping the next decade of aviation. I look forward to the insights and partnerships that will emerge from this remarkable gathering.

Wings India continues to serve as a powerful global platform where innovation, collaboration, and ambition come together. I am confident that the 2026 edition will further accelerate progress, inspire new partnerships, and strengthen India’s position as an aviation leader on the global stage.
